The critics of PDX Critic had a broad vision: to offer critical reviews of everything under the sun. If something could be criticized, they would criticize it.
The challenge was to build a front and backend that would still make sense after three drinks and three hundred reviews. We decided upon a hierarchical system of categories, subcategories, and reviews arranged in an intuitive collapsible menu.
The categories, subcategories, and reviews are all completely owner maintained and updated. Now add a weekly top ten list for list-o-holics, and an area for the critics to identify themselves. The result? A freewheeling mode of expression for an unlimited range of possible rants and raves from our critics.
